Introducing Kelly Steiner: LLA’s Newest Physical Therapist
Kelly Steiner is a Physical Therapist with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University in Athens. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Malone University in Canton.
Kelly has previously worked in a school setting, primarily with elementary school aged kids. In graduate school, she worked in an outpatient pediatric clinic, NICU and NICU follow-up clinic at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. In the outpatient clinic she worked with kids from birth to 18 years old with a variety of diagnoses including: torticollis, plagiocephaly, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, toe walking and developmental delays. She currently works in Chippewa Local Schools and Ashland City School District with school age children in kindergarten through high school.
Kelly has a passion for working with children, particularly infants. Kelly states: “I am very excited for this opportunity to work with LLA Therapy in a clinic setting. I want to be there for kids and their families to help optimize their function at home and/or school, so they can participate in activities with their family and peers.”
Kelly currently lives in Smithville. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer and slow pitch softball, reading, traveling and watching Boston Red Sox baseball.
If you need to schedule an appointment, Kelly is currently accepting new patients on Fridays at the Medina Clinic. Click here to schedule now!
