LLA Spotlight: Elise Bondy
We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Elise Bondy!
Elise is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who has been with LLA for seven years. She began by serving clients in our clinics, but is currently working in the schools. She became a therapist because she has always loved working with children. She was a nanny at one time and the child she cared for was in the Help Me Grow program receiving OT for developmental delays. Elise loved being part of his “team” and was hooked! Her favorite part about being a therapist is the excitement on a child’s face when they accomplish something new and the look on a parent’s face when they see their child reach goals they hoped for but weren’t sure they would be able to reach.
Let’s get to know Elise better!

What is your favorite book?
I love to read and it’s impossible for me to choose one favorite book. My favorites are biographies and mysteries.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to read, do crafts and cook.
What is your best advice for parents who are embarking on a journey with therapy with their kiddo?
Working with your child at home will help them reach their therapy goals. We only get to work with your child for 30-60 minutes a week. When you reinforce the therapy at home everyone wins.
