We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Alyse Bachmann!
Alyse is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been with LLA for one year. She serves clients in our Medina and Fairlawn offices as well Medina High school. She became a Speech-Language Pathologist after volunteering at a summer camp for kids with disabilities. It opened her eyes to the different ways people can communicate and inspired her to be an advocated for those without a voice. Her favorite part of being a Speech-Language Pathologist is watching the children she works with gain confidence as they develop their communication skills!

What is your therapy passion?
My passion in therapy is working with children ages birth to three and preschool age.
What is your favorite color?
Purple
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy watching movies, reading books, spending time with my dogs, family, and friends.
What is the funniest thing a child has said to you in therapy?
When discussing my patient’s diet he said, “ You didn’t know I’m a veterinarian?! I don’t eat meat.”
What’s your best advice for kids?
Be patient with yourself, progress takes time.
