LLA Spotlight: Laura Say
We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Laura Say!
Laura is an Occupational Therapist who has been with LLA since January 2021. She serves clients at our new Mentor office! She became a therapist because she knew she wanted to work with children in some form, and she received speech therapy when she was younger. One of her favorite things about being a therapist is getting to “play” all day, and seeing the kiddos having fun, not realizing they are working.
Let’s get to know Laura better!
What is your therapy passion?
It changes all the time. Depending on the clients I’m seeing, but most recently it has been sensory feeding.

Hike, read, home improvements

Harry Potter Series
What is your best advice for parents who are embarking on a journey with therapy with their kiddo?
You are, your child’s advocate.
Are you an early riser or night owl?
What do you like to do in your free time?

What is the best therapy advice you have ever received?
The kids did not read the textbook. Meaning no child is cookie cutter, they are all different, and the answers are not all in the textbooks.
