LLA Spotlight: Lauren Boylan
We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Lauren Boylan!
Lauren is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been with LLA since July 2020. She serves clients in our Fairlawn office. She became a therapist because she always wanted to work with kids (she knew she would never have a boring day)! ABA treatment is not one size fits all, so it allows her to individualize treatment for each child. Lauren feels grateful to be able to collaborate on a daily basis with co-workers, families, schools, and other practitioners to help her clients grow. It is definitely a team approach! Her favorite part about being a therapist is that ABA is a growing field and still continuing to come out with new research and developments. An exciting aspect of ABA is that it is based on behavioral principles that can be used to change behavior in all aspects of our life, and is not just used with individuals with autism! Being a BCBA allows her to continuously be learning and growing in this field!
Let’s get to know Lauren better!

Describe your role at LLA:
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I teach and supervise registered behavior technicians (RBTs) to provide ABA treatment on a daily basis. I assess skills and behaviors to develop client treatment plans based on their own individual needs and strengths. I focus on utilizing principles of ABA to teach skills that will make meaningful changes, while decreasing problematic behaviors that may be impeding with learning these skills.
