LLA Spotlight: Marla Griswold
We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Marla Griswold!
Marla is an Occupational Therapist who has been with LLA since August 2019. She serves students at Chippewa and Revere Local School District, in addition to clients in the clinics as needed. She became a therapist because she has always enjoyed working with and helping others. After spending a summer in college working at a group home for developmentally disabled women, she knew that occupational therapy would be a very rewarding career. One of her favorite things about being a therapist is getting to know her clients and watching them learn, grow, and succeed! She loves feeling like she have made a difference.
Let’s get to know Marla better!
What is your therapy passion?
I’m obviously passionate about pediatrics, but I also have a passion for education and women’s health. I think it’s important to educate families the importance of early intervention and child development in order to give every child the best possible future, but I also believe that women should be provided with more resources and information pre and post pregnancy for their own general well being.
