LLA Spotlight: Nick Dodds
We have amazing therapists at LLA and want to showcase them to you! This week, meet Nick Dodds!
Nick is a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) who has been with LLA for 4 months! He serves clients in our Fairlawn Clinic. He chose to become a therapist because he loves being in a field where he can help children who need it. Growing up he always wanted to work with kids because he doesn’t think he will ever not be a kid at heart. One of his favorite things about being a therapist is seeing how excited the kids get when they learn something new. The kids are so excited to learn new skills and it is great to be a part of that!
Let’s get to know Nick better!

Describe your role at LLA:
I am a BCBA at LLA therapy in the ABA clinic. I supervise RBT’s who provide one-on-one ABA treatment every day with our clients. I build behavior plans to address disruptive behaviors at home and treatment plans to improve client’s communication and social skills.

What do you do in your free time?
I like reading and playing board games.
What is your best advice for parents who are embarking on a journey with therapy with their kiddo?
ABA is not a short or quick journey. It takes time to evaluate, work on skills in the clinic, then work on those skills at home. The best way to look at it is to enjoy the success along the way and the progress being made everyday.
