Washing Your Hands Properly: A ‘Handy’ Visual for Kids

At this time of year there is often an increase in runny noses, colds, and flu.  The holiday parties at school, shopping at the mall, and many visits to relatives exposes children to increased germs.  As reported by the CDC, keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps to take to avoid illness and spreading germs to others. Diseases are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean, running water.  Teaching children to properly wash their hands keeps them and those around them healthy!  Shown below is a helpful visual that you can print out and use with your children!
